Austin is an odd town. The contrasts are profound.

Here's an odd thought to share.... I like the "idea" of Daido Moriyama more than I like his photographs. In the same way I like the idea of Jack Kerouac more than I like most of his books.

Revisiting an image from a walk in San Antonio.

I have no tales of woe or deprivation. But I did go out for a walk this afternoon and it was hot and sticky. When I got home I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and a glass of milk. Then I played around with photos.

Been on a portrait jag around here lately. Here's a colorized black and white portrait that was first created back in the golden age of medium format film. And a bit of information about my work with screw heads!!!
