VSL is going away but NOT this new blog. Not for a while at any rate. Stay tuned. It might be more fun now that the past is history... (Silly Wordplay).
Craig with his cat. In the ancient studio on 7th St. back in 1979
Craig was my first restaurant boss. I worked at one of Austin's favorite
bad restaurants, Kerbey Lane Cafe. Run by restaurant refugees and still
in business. Now with multiple locations. Just think Omelettes and Pancakes
and you'll be on the right track. Craig taught me how to flip eggs over easy
without a spatula. A talent I've maintained over the decades.
Even won a bet once by flipping twelve eggs in one pan with NO broken yokes.
